I spent the day with the bride-to-be to check more to do's off of her list.
Pick up wedding dress. Check.
Get last minute gifts. Check.
Makeup trial. Check.
Capture the reflection of the flag in her eye. Check.
We are such dorks.
Check. Check. Check joy.
And this is the look she gives me when she remembers that she is getting married in 5 days!
I believe that our home will forever be a work in progress.
With the kids' bathroom still not 100% complete (waiting for the granite and sinks), our laundry room received new walls today.
I think I will forever find drywall dust in my underwear drawer.

We were at the Milk Day parade and were surrounded by our children, family, friends, and strangers.
But, for this one moment, it was just the two of us. It was a really nice moment.

My first newborn photo shoot was with my sweet nephew. He was the perfect little model.
I now have a much greater appreciation for newborn photographers. It definitely takes a lot of patience.
It was worth every minute. They don't stay this little for long.

We have a little patch of strawberry plants that my kiddos have been hanging around lately. They eat the ripe ones (and some that are not-so-ripe) right off of the plant.
Today, the youngest found and ate the last ripe strawberry before the older two had a chance of taking it away from him.

In other news... I have been so lucky to have always had my family close by. Things are about to change. My two younger brothers and my sister-in-law are moving to Colorado in two weeks. I am so very happy for them for pursuing their dreams. However, I think I'm having a harder time with this than my mom. I'll miss them so very much.

In other news, I went dress shopping today with my dear friend (the bride-to-be) and my twins. I FINALLY found a dress for the wedding next weekend! Why is dress shopping easier when you are not officially dress shopping?
My little man went to the dentist for the first time today. I was so proud of how well he did. No cavities! Yippee!
He deserves to jump for joy!
