124/365... Firetrucks joy.
Our town's Fire Department is hosting an Open House next weekend. The firefighters (hubby included) have been busy getting things ready for the event.
All of the firetrucks were outside at the firehouse so I took the kiddos in the wagon so they could get a sneak peek.
They loved looking at the big firetrucks but I think they loved seeing their daddy even more.

** Sad news... just a few hours after I took some pictures of the firetrucks, a local family lost their home to a fire. The family is safe but sadly they lost a dog and their second dog is seriously injured. The husband/father is a member of the very fire department that tried to save his home. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

wow - my prayers go out to that family - i can only imagine what it must feel like for the other fire fighters trying to save their friends home -

That is sad :O( I do LOVE this shot though. The way the flag is waving with the sun shining on it. Wonderful!
