225/365... Day 7 in South Haven, MI joy
Day 7 in South Haven, MI:
It was another hot, sunny day! We ate our breakfast and headed to the beach for our last full day of vacation.
We had the process of going up and down these stairs down to a science. In this picture, hubby is carrying the youngest twin in one arm and beach gear in the other. I am carrying the older twin AND camera in one arm and 2 beach bags in the other.
We are hopeful that no one will need to be carried next year.
My kiddos and hubby became serious sand castle builders during our vacation.
I want to write this in the sand every summer.
I loved watching him relax and enjoy life.
I was determined to be in more pictures during this vacation. Thank goodness for the reach and shoot technique!
I love his smile in this one.
When we packed up, our oldest went over to the shoreline and said "Goodbye beach".
We relaxed during the afternoon and then went to dinner at Joe's Bar and Grill. SUPER yummy! The kids were so good!
Unfortunately, it was overcast so there wasn't much of a sunset. So, we took the kids to the "Big Wood Park" so they could play. They had a blast.
For our last night, the kids enjoyed a movie night. The boys could have cared less about the movie. They just wanted the popcorn.
You know it is a good vacation when you don't want it to end.

Looks like an awesome vacation - I love that third to last shot! Did you really take your 5DMII out in the ocean for that reach and shoot shot???
