279/365... Priorities joy

I was picking up toys, responding to texts, loading the dishwasher, unloading the dryer, and sweeping the floors while making a mental "to do" list of tasks that still needed to be taken care of.

It was in the midst of all of this chaos that I noticed my 4 sweet, pajama'd babies sitting at the top of the stairs, ready for our nighttime routine.

That "to do" list can wait.

Priorities joy.

Your children are adorable. It sounds like you have your priorities straight, and can ditch the list when you need to. You can never call these days back. I sometimes wish that I could go back to a houseful of kids just for a day .

It's hard sometimes when we let our priorities get out of whack, but this adorable photo is a lovely reminder of what's important. Now off to go kiss my kids...well, maybe just peek at them so I don't wake them up. :)
